Car Accident Lawyer

I'm a retired teacher, and I live in Marble Falls. My husband and I moved there when we retired about 20 years ago. We were on our way home, I think it was about 10:30, and going through an intersection, I always slow down a little bit going through intersections anyway. And we were at the corner of Highway 71 and Bee Cave Road. And all of a sudden it was like an explosion happened. Then the car turned over and slid. And I remember that vividly. We were trapped for about 45 minutes, a little bit claustrophobic, and all of a sudden it occurred to me, what if the car catches on fire and we can't get out? So it was frightening. The EMS and the fire department, they were absolutely wonderful. They did, you know, everything they could as quickly as they could to get us out. The paramedics were wonderful to us. And my husband was in quite a bit of pain with his broken ribs and his hand. You know, Lee said, well, the insurance company should, you know, help us get a car anyway. And so when they called with the offer, I didn't know anything about lawsuits. I didn't know what to expect at all. I knew that what they offered us wouldn't even get me a car. And so my husband said, well, I think that I'll call this friend of ours who is a lawyer and just ask his advice. Tell him what happened and ask his advice.
